Adam E. Faber

Counsel

Adam Faber practices in the areas of executive compensation and employment law. Adam has extensive experience in counseling and advising employers and executives concerning executive compensation matters. This includes the negotiation and drafting of employment contracts and severance agreements as well as deferred compensation, stock option, restricted stock and other incentive compensation plans and agreements.

On deferred compensation matters, Adam guides corporate entities and senior executives through the impact of the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004 on existing deferred compensation arrangements (409A) and advises on the implementation of newly created plans and agreements.

Adam practiced for eight years in the Employment and Employee Benefits Group of the New York City law firm, Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP. At Schulte Roth, Adam was the point person on executive compensation and employee benefits matters for the firm's clients on mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Adam has taught as a guest lecturer on executive compensation matters at Hofstra University School of Law. He has also lectured at the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the Practicing Law Institute faculty and lectures at the annual ERISA seminar.
